To find all the different possible combinations, you multiply all the possibilities for each position.

1st - she as 20 different possible buttons
2nd - she would have 19 possible buttons
3rd-she would have 18 possible buttons

20 x 19 x 18=6840 possible ways to choose these buttons.

What is the value of f(7)
kkurt [141]
F(7) means f(x) when x = 7. The x is replaced with 7.

So we'll replace every x with 7 to go from x = 7 to 3-x = 3-7 = -4

Put another way
f(x) = 3-x
f(7) = 3-7
f(7) = -4

Professor Lam is grading papers in the teachers' lounge. He has already finished grading 6 assignments, and is grading 4 more as
Delvig [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: If Professor Lam grades 4 papers per hour, in 11 hours he will graded 44 papers. (11 x 4= 44). He had previously graded 6 papers giving him a total of 50 papers graded. His assistant can grade 5 papers per hour, thus it would take him 10 hours to grade the same amount of papers as Professor Lam. (10 x 5= 50) Thus: 11 hours Professor Lam 50 papers graded; 10 hours his assistant 50 papers graded.

Hoochie [10]

Answer:

52.4.

Step-by-step explanation:

This is the difference of 2 squares:

a^2 - b^2 = (a - b)(a + b)

(7.62^2 - (2.38)^2

= (7.62 - 2.38)(7.62 + 2.38)

= 5.24 * 10

= 52.4
