Answer:

The problem with the way Great Britain and France drew borders in the Middle East was that neither Great Britain nor France found it necessary to include the locals in the operations of demarcating the borders and nor did they take their interests into consideration.

Explanation:

 • Mark Sykes was chosen by the British Council to take responsibility on his shoulders to collaborate with France and demarcate the borders of the Middle East.
 • From the French side, George Picot was given the responsibility to have colloquies with the British officials and decide upon how should the borders of the Middle East be demarcated so that they serve the interests of both the British and the French.
 • The operation of demarcating the borders of the Middle East failed at involving the locals into it as there were no such provisions discussed before the commencement of the operation.

The sun has long been set,
The stars are out by twos and threes,
The little birds are piping yet
 Among the bushes and trees;
There's a cuckoo, and one or two thrushes,
And a far-off wind that rushes,
And a sound of water that gushes,
And the cuckoo's sovereign cry
Fills all the hollow of the sky.

Explanation:

To make discount loans to banks suffering from large withdrawals by depositors, is the right answer.

Passed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by Woodrow Wilson, the then U.S. President, the Federal Reserve Act was an act that founded the Federal Reserve System of the United States. This system was comprised of twelve regional Federal Reserve Banks, which were responsible for controlling the money supply, offering loans and overlooking the banks and to serve as the lender of ultimate possibility. The main job of this reserve was to provide discount loans to banks undergoing massive withdrawals by depositors. Thus Option D will be the right answer.

A set of people who interact on the basis of shared expectations and who possess some degree of common identity.
Neporo4naja [7]

The answer is a social group. A set of people who interact on the basis of shared expectations and who possess some degree of common identity is a social group.

EXPLANATION

In the field of sociology, a social group is two or more people that interact with each other. Members of a social group usually have similar characteristics. They also have a sense of unity towards each other. In conclusion, a social group is made from the interdependency of each member and similarity.

A social group is not defined by size. A group can be as small as two and as large as a community. It is still called a social group even though it comes from different sizes or varieties. A prayer group consisted of two people is still considered a social group or even a group of a certain football fan is still considered as a social group

A social group also exhibits some degree of social cohesion. It is more than just a group of people that are standing in line to by food, or a group of people that are waiting for a bus to come. A social group needs similarity in it, either similarity in purpose, hobbies, values, representations, kinship ties, social background, or even ethnic.

Kinship ties between people can be acquired from marriage, adoption, or common ancestry. Some researchers even consider defining the social group as social interaction. According to research, average people can’t maintain a stable social relationship if it is more than 150 people.
