Let “T” represent the tax rate...
$150 x T = $7.50
Divide both sides by 150 to solve for T...
T = 7.5/150 = .05
So the tax is 5% (.05)
The answer is (1) because 7,300,000-3,900,000 is 3,400,000
Let the numbers be 7x and 4x
According to question
7x-4x =57
3x =57
X=57/3
X=19
So the numbers are
7x=7*19=133
4x=4*19=76
From what I got there is one real solution :)
Rearrange the second equation to give y=2-2x, substitute into the first equation to give you a value for x and then using that you can work out y for the exact coordinates of intersection :)
Also they are both straight line graphs so they will either have one or no solutions
Hope this helped :)
3/10 =50/x First multiply 50x10 then divide that number by 3 to get the answer
