Answer:

The number -0.39 ml could be added to 0.40 ml for the level of precision to be 0.01ml.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number could be added to 0.40ml .

According to question

If the number x added to 0.40 ml then we get precise level 0.01 ml .

therefore, we make an equation by using of addition property

      x+0.40=0.01

    x=0.01-0.40

Because when we put a number from left hand side of equal to and put on right hand side of equal to then the sign of the number changes .

therefore, sign of 0.40 changes in to negative .

Therefore, by solving equation

       we get x= -0.39

Hence, -0.39ml is the number that could be added to 0.40ml for the level of precision to be 0.01 ml.

Because it goes up for a constant rate, to find the rice for 1 hour of parking do 16.00-12.50 and get 3.50 . To find the fee, just subtract 12.5 - 3.5
The fee for parking is $9
Hope this helps

The measure of angle 3 from the figure is 110 degrees

Lines and angles

An angle is the intersection between two lines. From the given figure, we have the following parameters

m∠1= 40°,

m∠2= 70°.

Required

Measure of angle 3

The sum of the interior angles of the triangle is equal to the exterior

Sum of interior = <1 + <2

Sum of interior = 40 + 70

Sum of interior =110 degrees

Hence the measure of angle 3 from the figure is 110 degrees
