The skeletal cardiac and smooth muscles would be the ones affected. The skeletal muscles are obviously attached to the bones, normally these are voluntary but if the nerve supply is cut this can result in muscular dystrophy which i basically when the muscle is weakened and wasted (pretty bad). The cardiac muscle is located within the walls of your heart, it is considered to be involuntary, if the nerves are severed here then it can result in the pumping of the heart to fail to result in cardiac arrest (again pretty bad). Lastly, the smooth muscle tissue would be affected

Below are the seven properties of water that make life possible on Earth. Describe five of these properties and provide an examp
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

Water in its liquid form has a boiling point temperature close to 100°C. As a result of the network of hydrogen bonding present between water molecules, a high input of energy is required to transform one gram of liquid water into water vapor, an energy requirement called the heat of vaporization.

Cohesion is responsible for the transport of the water column in plants. Adhesion is water attracted to other material.

Water has a greater surface tension than most other liquids because hydrogen bonds among surface water molecules resist stretching or breaking the surface.

Specific Heat is the amount of heat that must be absorbed or lost for one gram of a substance to change its temperature by 1*C.

Density is when hydrogen bonds in water expand as it warms and contracts as it cools. The hydrogen bonds keeps the molecules far enough a part to make ice have fewer molecules.

What is the part of the cell cycle process by which chromosomes in a cell nucleus are separated into two identical sets of chrom
Damm [24]

Answer:

Mitotic phase

Explanation:

Cell cycle is composed of interphase and mitotic phase. Interphase is aphase of cell preparation. It is subdivided into:

  • G1 (gap 1 phase)-the cell grows and becomes larger
  • S phase- replication of DNA, duplication of centrosomes
  • G2 (gap 2 phase)-proteins and oranelles are made

Mitotic phase is phase of cell division, chromosomes are separated, daughter cell get identical sets of chromosomes. It is followed by cytokinesis-separation of cytoplasm. Stages of mitosis are:

  • prophase-condensation of chromatin into chromosomes,  the nuclear envelope breaks down, mitotic spindle formation
  • metaphase-the chromosmes line up (metaphase plate)
  • anaphase-the siste chromatides move toward opposite cell poles
  • telophase-the nuclear envelope forms again, cell division is almost complete
