What type of muscle is paralyzed when its nerve supply is absent?

The skeletal cardiac and smooth muscles would be the ones affected. The skeletal muscles are obviously attached to the bones, normally these are voluntary but if the nerve supply is cut this can result in muscular dystrophy which i basically when the muscle is weakened and wasted (pretty bad). The cardiac muscle is located within the walls of your heart, it is considered to be involuntary, if the nerves are severed here then it can result in the pumping of the heart to fail to result in cardiac arrest (again pretty bad). Lastly, the smooth muscle tissue would be affected
