For this case we have:

By trigonometric property we have:

Tangent(\alpha)=\frac{Opposite Leg}{Adjacent Leg}

Where:

Opposite Leg = 7\\Adjacent Leg = 24

\alpha= x°

Substituting:

Tangent(x) =\frac{7}{24}

Clearing x we have:

x =Tangent ^{-1}(\frac{7}{24})

Thus, the equation is: x =Tangent ^{-1}(\frac{7}{24})

Answer:

x =Tangent ^{-1}(\frac{7}{24})

ryan and daniel are both packing boxes at a factory. ryan can pack three boxes every hour. the number of boxes daniel can pack i
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

Daniel: y = 4x

Ryan: 3 boxes per hour

y = total number of boxes

--

h = hours

Ryan is able to pack 3 boxes in one hour. In multiple hours, the problem will be represented by the equation y = 3h.

--

So,

Ryan: y = 3h

Daniel: y = 4h

--

Based on our answers, we can conclude that when h increases, y also increases. Daniel's rate of packing boxes is higher than Ryan's, and therefore he has a greater rate of change, which means Daniel packs boxes faster in the same amount of time than Ryan.

Hope this helped :)

Make r the subject of the formula: V=pier^2h
navik [9.2K]
If you mean π. Then, all that will be ;
V=πr²h
 First of all, you have to divide the both the sides by πh. You have to do this because the relationship between r and those two characters is multiplication. The opposite of multiplication is division. Anyway;
V/πh=πr²h/πh
V/πh=r²
  Next you have to take the square root of both sides. This is done to cancel the square. Anyway;
√V/πh=√r²
 The square root cancels the ². Anyway, you will be left with;
√V/πh=r
  So;
r=√V/πh.
   Hope i helped. Have a nice day.
