So one of them is a fact while the rest are opinions.

The article can be used to check if correct because it (answer choice) should be stated in the article. Yet, just look for opinion words such as probably, maybe, would, etc... and if the answer choice has one of those opinion words then it's wrong. Fact words such as "is", which is the main one most likely will be stated in the correct answer option.

A Samantha Guo was lucky to see how bots work.

- wrong "was lucky" opinionated .

B Samantha Guo is from Washington, DC.

- correct, "is" is also stated and is stated in article.

C Samantha Guo had a great trip to China.

- wrong "had a great trip" is opinionated unless Samantha said it and she didn't.

D Samantha Guo would be foolish to use WeChat.

- wrong " would" is an opinion word.

- - - - - - - - - - - - Answer - - - - - - - - - - - -

Answer choice B - Samantha Guo is from Washington, DC. is the answer.
