Explanation:

European colonization was the important policy or the practice of acquiring partially or fully political control over the societies and various other territories and thus exploiting it economically. The colonies supplied the colonial powers with military manpowers and various other sources. The colonies supplied slaves , precious metals  as well as tropical product that was in large demand. Trading posts and forts helped in creating military strength that helped during war. These colonies also helped in agriculture and various food industries.
