Minimum: 37
maximum: 208
range: maximum - minimum = 208 - 37 = 171
mean: (37 + 43 + 54 + 83 + 102 + 117 + 160 + 208)/8 = 100.5
median: middle number (83 + 102)/2 = 92.5

There are 200 carpenters in a crew. On a certain day, 150 were present. What percent showed up for work?
wariber [46]
The percentage would be 75% that carpenters that showed up for work
because when dividing 200 x 4 you will get 50 and 50 would equal to 25% of the total of carpenters and if you multiply 50 by 3 would get 150 and a percentage wise that would be 25% times three which is 75 and that’s how you get the answer

In the figure below, BCA ~ STR. Find cos C, sin C, and tan C. Round your answers to the nearest hundredth.
arsen [322]

Answer:

\sin C\approx0.85\\\\\cos C \approx0.52\\\\\tan C\approx1.63

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the trigonometric ratios in aright triangle :

\sin x =\dfrac{\text{Side opposite to x}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}\\\\\cos x =\dfrac{\text{Side adjacent to x}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}\\\\\tan x=\dfrac{\sin x}{\cos x}

Given:  ΔBCA ~ ΔSTR

Since , corresponding angles of two similar triangles are equal.

So, ∠C = ∠T                            ...(i)    [Middle letter]

In triangle STR

\sin T=\dfrac{\text{Side opposite to T}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}\\\\=\dfrac{26.4}{30.9}\approx0.85\\\\\cos x =\dfrac{\text{Side adjacent to T}}{\text{Hypotenuse}}\\\\=\dfrac{16.2}{30.9}\approx0.52\\\\\tan T=\dfrac{\sin T}{\cos T}\\\\=\dfrac{0.85}{0.52}\approx1.63  ...(ii)

From (i) and (ii), we have

\sin C\approx0.85\\\\\cos C \approx0.52\\\\\tan C\approx1.63
