Answer:

Option D) proteins, starches, and fats.

Explanation:

 • Organic compounds are compounds that contain Carbon(C) and contain Hydrogen(H) as well.
 • Water, H₂O does not contain carbon is therefore it is not organic compound .
 • So option A) and B) can be eliminated since they contain water.
 • Carbon dioxide, CO₂, contains carbon but doesn't contain hydrogen, and therefore we can eliminate Option C) as well.
 • This leaves Option D) i.e proteins, starches and fats are organic compounds, all of them are organic compounds.

Result: Option D) is the correct answer.

If you were designing a lander to work on mars, where on earth would you test it? Why?
emmasim [6.3K]
Hmm good question. Well I would have to test it for where there are no living life. I would have to build another NASA in the County because there is plenty of room there. Mars is made out of Dusty Crust that is about 30 miles thick. And let's say that the desert's Dusty Crust is about 5 miles - 15 miles thick. That will give about the same amount of surface that mars has. So we would know what to build for a perfect lander to work on Mars. This isn't much but it is something.
