<h2>Answer to question six: [B]</h2>

We need to find about what happens last in the short story.

  • The answer is not C, because it would not make sense if the other animals were to catch the duck before it got confused.
  • A would not make sense if it was last either. How would the would the animals be catching a duck when it's not in the tar yet?
  • The correct answer is B, because it would make sense if the animals tried to catch the duck last, after the duck confused the tar for the pond and it fell in.

Also, the event happened at the end at the story, not A or C.

<h2>Answer to number seven: [A]  </h2>

According to the article provided, <em>"If a volcano has not erupted in the last 50 years, it is dormant." </em>

Using this information, we can figure out the answer to the question.

  • C is not the answer, because it is most likely an extinct volcano. There has been no human recording of Volcano C erupting.
  • B looks promising, but it is a trick answer. Volcano B had not been having any activity since the 1800s, which is WAY FAR from the last 50 years.
  • A would be our best bet in this situation.

2020 - 1966 = 54 ≈ 50

It has been 54 years since Volcano A had any activity, but it is close enough to be dormant.

Well, if you look at the ocean from a standing point of view, it's pretty flat and water is spread all around the surface. Because of this, most people would assume that ocean is just flat and smooth.

Thanks to the discovery of science, we're able to go down deep and learn that there is more to the ocean than we knew about. =)

Hope that helps! -UnicornFudge aka Nadia

On the global grid, a location 20° north of the equator and 30° west of the
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]

Answer:

B. 20° north, 30° west

Explanation:

According to international convention, locations east of the Prime Meridian have positive longitudes while any point west of the Prime Meridian and before the International Date Line has a negative longitudinal value.

An alternative notion for writing coordinates in the Western Hemisphere is replacing the negative signs with the words <em>east </em>and <em>west </em>to avoid the negative and positive symbols and any possible associated confusion.
