British Empire is the largest empire in world history and has the most important power in the world. British started to setup their power in 
century, through overseas colonies.
By 1783 Great Britain had a empire with colonies in ''West Indies'' and ''America''. The stumble of the monarchy and kingdom of two pillars of Myanmar's society was the most catastrophic aspect of colonial era.

British rule in Burma prolonged from 1824 to 1948 that fluctuated from the Anglo-Burmese war to establish Burma as a British region of India. Burma was named after a British-dominated ethnic group.
