Although a fish is an animal and an oak tree is a member of plant kingdom, but these two shares many similarities.

  • A fish and an oak tree are living (biotic), made of cells and are multicellular organisms.
  • Both requires oxygen for cellular respiration to produce energy.
  • In both energy is stored in the the form of ATP.
  • Both under goes sexual reproduction and produce offspring.
  • Both requires water for metabolic reactions

They are both living things made out of cells. They need water and the sun to live and they are both carbon based.
