Answer:

Thematic statement: The practice of sport is important for the development of the organism, but it must be balanced with the other activities that the individual must complete on a daily basis.

Rhetorical strategy that creates logos: If the sport is hampering academic development or physical condition it is not being beneficial.

Explanation:

In "The Proper Place for Sports" Roosevelt talks to his son about the importance of playing sports as a recreational activity that boosts health and well-being. However, he affirms that he feels concerned that the practice of sports will harm his son's academic performance and also that the sport that the child wants to do is too heavy for his physical conditioning. Rooselvelt says he allows his son to play sports if this is not harmful, that is, the sport must be beneficial and be in balance with his son's academic success and physical integrity.

Varvara68 [4.7K]

Explanation:

There are two possible approaches to reducing eutrophication: Reduce the source of nutrients (e.g. by phosphate stripping at sewage treatment works, reducing fertilizer inputs, introducing buffer strips of vegetation adjacent to water bodies to trap eroding soil particles).

As Earth spins on its axis, producing night and day, it also moves about the Sun in an elliptical orbit that requires about 365
Doss [256]
I think it might be A.) Day. Because when the axis is pointed towards the sun, that shows it is day because that area has sunlight in which you get during the day. It is night when the axis is pointed away from the sun because there is no sunlight in that area which causes darkness in which we get during the night obviously. Winter occurs when the earth is far away from the sun, in which there is no heat, and closest to the sun in which we do get heat, there will be Summer.
Hope this helps some.

19. passes through (1, 4) and (-1, 1)
djyliett [7]

Answer:

y = 3/2x + 2.5

Explanation:

You can use the slope equation: \frac{y_1-y_2}{x_1-x_2} = \frac{rise}{run}

So: \frac{1-4}{-1-1} = \frac{3}{2}

Then just plug in the one of the original points to find the y-intercept:

4 = \frac{3}{2} (1)+b\\4=\frac{3}{2} +b\\4=1.5+b\\(-1.5)+4=1.5+b+(-1.5)\\2.5=b

And finally turns into: y=\frac{3}{2} +2.5

Both South Asia and Western Europe have high population densities. How does the distribution of these two populations differ?
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

South Asia's population mostly lives in the countryside as farmers. Western Europe's population mostly lives in large cities.

Explanation:

Based on the information from the World Bank, about 70% of people living in South Asia have about the third quarter of the population living on agriculture and stays in rural areas. There is about 36% urban ratio in South Asia, with 303 people per square kilometers. On the other hand, the urban ratio in Western Europe is about 79.8%, with a population density of 181 people per square kilometers. Hence, in this case, the right answer is Option E. South Asia's population mostly lives in the countryside as farmers. Western Europe's population mostly lives in large cities.
