The Communist Party, its leaders, Mao Tse Tung in the lead, give the starting signal of the Cultural Revolution in August 1966 in Beijing that lasts five years.

Historical sites, objects of art are then destroyed under the pretext of eliminating the old customs, the traditional culture, the old manners, the reactionary thoughts.

Thousands of families are attacked, tortured, beaten to death.

The crimes perpetrated during the Cultural Revolution are the work of the Red Guards a student mass movement mobilized by Mao.

help asap i can not say anything on my other account so yeah here is the question explain the difference between a primary sourc
o-na [289]

Hey there! I'm happy to help!

A primary source is one that is written by someone who experienced the event firsthand. Anne Frank's diary is an example of a primary source. She was the first (primary) person who experienced what happened on that hierarchy.

A secondary source is one that is written about a primary source. It comes second on the hierarchy of receiving historical information because it has to be based on a primary source, which gives the actual information. A history documentary is an example of a secondary source.

Answer:

It was a really bad time in France, eventually ended in Robespierre being accused of treason and put forth into the Guillotine

Explanation:

The Reign of Terror, or more commonly The Terror (French: la Terreur), refers to a period of the French Revolution when, following the creation of the First French Republic, a series of massacres and numerous public executions took place in response to revolutionary fervour, anti-clerical sentiment, and spurious accusations of treason by Maximilien Robespierre and the Committee of Public Safety.
