Part of the graph representing an electrical signal is shown. The voltage rises steadily from an initial value (A) to a maximum

value (B). It then drops instantly to the initial value (C) and repeats such that ab || cd and bc and de are vertical. If A = (1, 1) and B = (4, 3), what is the equation of cd ?
-3y − 2x = 5
3y − 2x = 5
3y − 2x = -5
3y + 2x = 5

Cd would be -3y-2x=5 because there is a whole bunch of answer and this is the right one and that is my first initial and i have done this before

Hello,

I suppose C is at the same altitude as A
else we can't anwser.
C=(4;1)

Slope of AB= (3-1)(4-1)=2/3

The equation of CD is

y-1=2/3(x-4)
==>3y-3=2x-8
==>3y-2x=-5

Answer is C
