Advanced Placement is part of the American and Canadian educational systems. It is a group of courses offered to high school students. Taking these courses and later on tests, a high school student can prepare for college, can get a better position when applying for it and even gain some useful credits for the his/her future studies. Students can take preparational classes at school before taking the test, but there are also free to prepare on their own.
