The longest word in the english dictionary is the famous disease casued by the inhalation of volcanic ashes, silica, etc.:

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis


And the longest word in any language, doesn't belong to any specific language, because it's a scientific name. This is the scientific name of titin. This word, has amazingly 189,819 letters.
