Remember that angles across from each either are equal. I say across from each other but I know that’s hard to understand look at the image I attached, I am referring to yellow angle. See how the yellow angle and the two w’s form a straight line, it’s draw in red in my image. A straight line is 180. So 76+2w=180 Solve it by isolating the variable w. Subtract 76 from both sides. 2w=104 divide both sides by 2. w=52

The first steps in writing f(x) = 4x2 + 48x + 10 in vertex form are shown. f(x) = 4(x2 + 12x) + 10 = 36 What is the function wri
xz_007 [3.2K]

Answer:

f(x) = 4(x + 6)² – 134

Step-by-step explanation:

To write an equation in vertex form, we first factor out the GCF of the first two terms.  For 4x² and 48x, this is 4:

f(x) = 4(x²+12x)+10

Next we complete the square.  The value of b inside parentheses is 12; we take half of that and square it:

(12/2)² = 6² = 36

We add this inside parentheses.  However in order to preserve equality, we must subtract this value as well.  Since the terms inside parentheses are being multiplied by 4, we multiply the 36 we subtract by 4 as well:

f(x) = 4(x²+12x+36)-4(36)+10

Simplifying, we have

f(x) = 4(x²+12x+36)-144+10

Combining like terms,

f(x) = 4(x²+12x+36)-134

Next we write the trinomial in parentheses as a perfect square:

f(x) = 4(x+6)²-134

Pls help me solve this
sammy [17]

Answer:

4 kg of sugar would contain 1.2 \times 10^9 crystals.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that 3kg of sugar contains 9 × 10⁸ crystals, let "x" represent the number of sugar crystals 4kg of sugar would contain.

Thus, set up a proportion as follows:

3 kg : 9 × 10⁸ = 4 kg : x

\frac{3}{9 \times 10^8} = \frac{4}{x}

Solve for x. Cross multiply.

3 \times x = 9 \times 10^8 \times 4

3x = 36 \times 10^8

3x = 3.6 \times 10^9

Divide both sides by 3

\frac{3x}{3} = \frac{3.6 \times 10^9}{3}

x = 1.2 \times 10^9

4 kg of sugar would contain 1.2 \times 10^9 crystals.

True [87]

Answer:

<em>Hello There.The correct answer is 157</em>

Because All you need to do is is Multiply 1740 x 9 then you need to add to 100 to get 15760 And that how you get the answer  1740 x 9 + 100 =15760.
