1 is D because 48 dancers is the total number of dancers that you want to pack trunks for. They tell you one trunk is equivalent to 6. So the number of trunks needed times six should equal 48. 
2 D if you divide each of the bottom numbers with the top numbers you get 6 so if you multiply the top numbers by 6 you get the bottom numbers
3 A 72/8=9 so 9*8=72
