How did the political and religious ideas of the Byzantine Empire compare with the Western Empire?

Because <span>The Byzantine emperor was considered to be the highest political and religious figure. In the Western Empire, the highest political and religious figures were two different people.
In Byzantine empire, the church officials were integrated with the government officials, making all the policies that made by the government is strongly tied to the rules of the bible. The western empire, on the other hand, tend to not include the church officials in the government (but they still treat their opinion with respect)</span>

The Indian Removal act was harsh because many native Americans were forced out of their homes and to a small are when they actually were supposed to own all of it. Another reason it was harsh was because many of them died because of no food, poor living conditions and some of the were simply not fit to make the move.

It was in Roman territory which was filled with cultural diffusion. Rome tolerated all religions as long as people payed taxes to the emperor to keep the peace. The emperor allowed other culture and religion so there wouldn't be an revolts against their own people. Later on a bad emperor Nero blamed Christians for a fire which changed things which led to the fall of Rome. Hope this helped!
