3x = 4(x-2.25)

3x = 4x-9

add 9 to both sides

3x+9 =4x

subtract 3 x from each side

x=9

Tonya's items were $9 each

Tony's items were 9-2.25 = 6.75 each

check:

9*3=27

4 *6.75 = 27

NEED HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM. thanks
AlexFokin [52]
Rick has 1 1/3, or 4/3, pounds of sugar.
He needs to pour 1/4 of this amount into the bowl.
4/3 * 1/4  Multiply the numerators and the denominators
(4*1) / (3*4) = 4/12                   Simplify, 4/12 can be simplified to 1/3.
He poured 1/3 pound of sugar.

Now, for flour, we need to find 1/4 of 2/3, using the same process:
(2/3) * (1/4) = (2*1) / (3*4) = 2/12 = 1/6
He poured 1/6 pound of flour

What is the radius of
Nana76 [90]

Answer:

Radius of cylinder = 2 inch (Approx.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Volume of cylinder = 75.4 in³

Height of cylinder = 6 inches

Find;

Radius of cylinder

Computation:

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

Volume of cylinder = (3.14)r²(6)

75.4 = (18.84)r²

(Radius of cylinder )² = 75.4 / 18.84

(Radius of cylinder )² = 4.002123

(Radius of cylinder) = 2

Radius of cylinder = 2 inch (Approx.)
