Federal Government contracted millions of acres of land for the development of transportation. The land was used for construction of major transcontinental railroads which paved way for the easy and quick transportation of goods from America to the eastern countries.

Central Pacific Railroad is the first cross continental railroad which connected two continents for enhancing trade relationships. Slow horse carriages were relied upon before the emergence of railroads. It was time consuming.

Today freight train carries commercial goods to the continents without and delay or damage to the goods. Both grain and steers where transported to the eastern butchers from the west.

What did rabelais, Shakespeare, and Cervantes have in common
BabaBlast [244]
Rabelais, Shakespeare and Cervantes are all Renaissances writers who lived in Europe during the fifteenth century. Cervantes was a Spanish writer, Shakespeare was an English writer and Rabelais was a French writer. All three writers wrote about the issues of the day. Each writer had a profound influence on the society in his own country. They helped the citizens of their respective countries to understand the major issues in their society at the time they lived.  This impacted the Renaissance movement throughout the whole of early modern Europe.
