History

The women gained more rights, freedom, and become economically more independent.

Explanation:

The World War I first, and later the World War II as well, actually had lot of positive effects on the women on the long run. Because millions of men were deployed in the military and in the fronts across the world, there was major lack of labor force. The governments then started to encourage the women to work, as well as starting to promote their rights and improve their social status.

The women understandably took the opportunity. They suddenly had jobs, instead of being discouraged to educate they were actually encouraged to do so, they earned money, and were given all rights as the men. Because of this the women quickly became equal to men in the society. They were able to support themselves financially so they became much more independent economically. Because they were gaining skills and experience and education on top of it, the women were now able to progress on the job place and to pursue a career.

What happened after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand that led to World War l
RSB [31]

The causes of World War I, also known as the Great War, have been debated since it ended. Officially, Germany shouldered much of the blame for the conflict, which caused four years of unprecedented slaughter. But a series of complicated factors caused the war, including a brutal assassination that propelled Europe into the greatest conflict the continent had ever known.

The murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand outraged Austria-Hungary.

In June 1914, Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie traveled to Bosnia—which had been annexed by Austria-Hungary—for a state visit.

On June 28, the couple went to the capital city of Sarajevo to inspect imperial troops stationed there. As they headed toward their destination, they narrowly escaped death when Serbian terrorists threw a bomb at their open-topped car.
