what kind of listening involves imagining yourself in the other person's position so you can better understand what he or she is
Stels [109]

Answer:

This kind of listening is better known as empathetic listening. Empathy is defined as the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. In other words, it's putting yourself in another person's shoes. Hope I could help you! :)

In his
SashulF [63]

Roosevelt is very appreciative of Yosemite. A piece of evidence to support this claim is this statement by him: "There can be nothing in the world more beautiful than the Yosemite, the groves of the giant sequoias...our people should see to it that they are preserved for their children and their children's children forever, with their majestic beauty all unmarred."

In this statement made by Theodore Roosevelt, we find evidence of his feeling about the Yosemite wilderness.

In 1903, he was led to this wilderness by John Muir, a notable naturalist. He loved the place and eventually signed the Yosemite Recession Bill.

The quote above that was made by him in his autobiography, lends credence to this fact.

Is the verb in the sentence in the active voice or the passive voice? This race car is driven by a sixteen-year-old boy.
MatroZZZ [7]

It's in passive voice.

A good rule of thumb for cases like this is that if it has any variation of the verb "to be" (is, was, were, etc.) it's passive voice.
If you wanted to switch it to active voice you need to get rid of "is", and this is usually done by switching the subject and the object (so while in the original sentence, the race car is the doing the verb, to switch it you'd need to make the sixteen-year-old boy be the one doing the verb). This new sentence would be something like:
The sixteen-year-old boy drove the racecar

Would submitting your own assignment twice be considered plagiarism?
marin [14]
Yes and No, if you have a certain learning disability then you may resubmit parts of different assignments. However resubmitting an entire assignment while not plagiarism can still give you a zero.
