Please help, my score is 89 I have to get to 90 this question is important!
White raven [17]

Answer:

40.4

Step-by-step explanation:

Triangle TUV is similar to triangle XYZ.

Notice the order in which TUV and XYZ are written.

Angles are corresponding to angles in the same position in the names.

<T corresponds to <X.

<U corresponds to <Y.

<V corresponds to <Z.

In similar triangles, corresponding angles are congruent.

<T is congruent to <X.

<U is congruent to <Y.

<V is congruent to <Z.

m<T = m<X = 63.1°

m<U = m<Y

m<V = m<Z = 76.5°

m<X + m<Y + m<Z = 180°

63.1° + m<Y + 76.5° = 180°

m<Y + 139.6° = 180°

m<Y = 40.4°

A sphere has a radius of 5 inches. What is its volume?
jarptica [38.1K]

Given  ↓

  • Radius of sphere = 5 in
<h3>To Find ↓</h3>
  • The volume of the sphere
<h3>Calculations ↓</h3>

\blue{\boxed{\mathsf{V=\frac{4}{3} \pi r^3}}

↑ formula for volume of a sphere

r = 5 in

Plug in the value of r and solve :

\blue{\boxed{\mathsf{V=\frac{4}{3}\pi (5)^3}}}

Simplify as follows :

\blue{\boxed{\mathsf{V=\frac{4}{3}\pi *125} }}

\blue{\boxed{V=\frac{4}{3} *392.7}}

Final Step :

\blue{\boxed{\pmb{V=523.6\:in\:^3}}

create a dot plot for this data how many books did you read this summer 5 5 9 2 4 5 8 7 5 2 4 9 8 5 9 2
Shtirlitz [24]
A dot plot is a type of frequency graph just like a histogram. Whereas a histogram uses 2 axes and bars to fill the frequency graph, the dot plot is only a number line with dots. A number line presents a parameter. For this problem, this is the number of books. When you ask a group of people on how many books they've read this summer, they would give a variety of numbers. These numbers are data point as listed above. If you want to see the frequency, you place a dot on top of the number every time a person answers that number. For example, 3 people said they've read 2 books this summer. So, on top of number two, you place 3 dots. Overall, you will be able to see which has the highest frequency by stacking the dots on top of each other.

The dot plot for this data set is shown in the picture.

See below

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>The coordinates of given points on the graph:</u>

  • A(-1, 3), B(4, 1), C(1, 7), D(6, 5), E(1.5, 6), F(3, 3)

<u>Use of slope formula:</u>

  • m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

a) <u>Slope of AB</u>:

  • (1 - 3)/(4 + 1) = - 2/5

b) <u>Slope of CD</u>:

  • (5 - 7)/(6 - 1) = -2/5

c) AB and CD are parallel as slopes are same

12.........................................................................

a) <u>Slope of EF</u>:

  • (3 - 6)/(3 - 1.5) = - 2

b) <u>Slope of AD</u>:

  • (5 - 3)/(6 + 1) = 2/7

c) EF and AD are neither parallel nor perpendicular
