True or False? In Exercises 119 and 120, determine whether the equation is true or false. Justify your answer.
seraphim [82]

Answer:

True

Step-by-step explanation:

To find true or false

Using the properties of logarithms, the left side of the given equation .logb b^2r=2r

, is equivalent to logb b^2r = 2x logb b

(use Power Rule)

=2x(1)

=2x

Hence, the given statement is a true statement.

Plz Solve Will Mark Brainliest and No Stealing Points Or Will Report
Part 2
jonny [76]

Answer:

Before we graph y = -\frac{1}{2}x, we know that the slope, mx, could be read as \frac{rise}{run}. To graph the the equation of the line, we begin at the point (0,0). From that point, because our rise is negative (-1), instead of moving upwards or vertically, we will move downards. Therefore, from point 0, we will vertically move downwards one time. Now, our point is on point -1 on the y-axis. Now, we have 2 as our run. From point -1, we move to the right two times. We land on point (2,-1). Because we need various points to graph this equation, we must continue on. In the end, the graph will look like the first graph given.

For the equation y = 2, the line will be plainly horizontal. Why? Because x has no value in the equation. The variable x does not exist in this linear equation. Therefore, it will look like the second graph below. We graph this by plotting the point, (0,2), on the y-axis.

Which is a irrational number
A. 0.277277277.....
B.0.333....
C.0.7
D.3.14
Alecsey [184]
A) This is a repeating decimal which means it is possible to write it in the form p/q where p & q are integers and q is nonzero. So we can rule out choice A.

B) Similar to the answer choice above, we have another repeating decimal. So we can rule out choice B.

C) This is a terminating decimal. It does not go on forever. We can write this as a fraction (0.7 = 7/10). So we can rule out choice C.

D) This is also terminating so it seems like your teacher made a typo. What I'm thinking is that the 3.14 was meant to be a decimal that goes on forever without a pattern. This is a well known number called pi. I'm assuming that's what your teacher was going for.

So I'd go with choice D as the answer.
