The Mycenaean civilization during the dark age became a time of destruction. There were invasions,earthquakes and famine (little food). With the collapse of this civilization and sudden disappearance of writing evidence we have little knowledge as to what really happened during the dark ages.

Well, it's not the Ku Klux Klan, as that was a large group of people who wanted to have slaves all return to their work, I've never heard of C, and we barely touched on D in school. From what I've learned, however, the Freedmen's Bureau helped former slaves by supplying food, providing education and homes, etc.

At various times and in various places he dealt in real estate, in oil, and operated a hotel. He recruited four companies for World War I service, served on the International Boundary Commission (1922-1926), and in World War II was chairman of the draft board. In 1945 he became the first State Historian of New Mexico, a state whose history he had a large part in shaping.
