she claimed it make women unhappy

"Since the women are the ones who bear the babies and there's nothing we can do about that, our laws and customs then make it the financial obligation of the husband to provide the support. It is his obligation and his sole obligation. And this is exactly and precisely what we will lose if the Equal Rights Amendment is passed."

Why did the ancient greeks believe that natural places like springs and tree groves were important
Anna007 [38]

Answer:

That is because every sacred stream, spring, cliff, or tree grove was considered to be invaded by spirits that guarded the areas.

The Celts called areas after gods, or so it has been said time and time repeatedly. Although the folklorist Claude Lecouteux thinks it was a different way around. The Celts described the gods later the sacred places.

The highest in the world, the mountains are located in northeast India and were created when the subcontinent of India pushed in
Annette [7]

Answer:

B. Himalayan

Explanation:

The highest mountain range in the world, the Himalayan Mountain Range, has formed at the boundary of the Indian and Eurasian continental masses. The India continent was a small one that separated from the much larger ancient continent Gondwanaland. As it separated, it started moving toward northeast, eventually closing down the Tethys Ocean, and colliding with Eurasia. As the two continental masses started to push against one another, the crust started to lift up because of the enormous pressure, thus gradually creating a mountain range. This process is still not over, and the Himalayas are still growing in elevation, with estimated 8 cm plus each year.
