One of the most interesting fields where gender discrimination occurs is healthcare. Unlike other fields where one gender is clearly given advantage over the other, healthcare is more blurry. Both males and females are faced with unfair stereotypes and expectations, and while certain occupations still clearly prefer one gender over the other, discrimination faced is relatively equal between the two genders. Amongst physicians, women have historically faced discrimination and trouble even entering the field. In the field of nursing though, men have been met with stereotypes and discrimination from both coworkers and patients. While the number of female doctors and male nurses has steadily increased, there still seems to be a lot of gender discrepancy in these two career paths. This blog will evaluate why these stereotypes exist, the degree of discrimination in modern America, and what attempts are being made to end the discrimination.

inysia [295]

The event caused Ivan to be less terrible for a short period of time was his mother's death.

Answer: Option B

Explanation:

Ivan IV Vasilyevich was a Moscow prince, and in 1547, he became the earliest Russian tsar. He was an dictatorial ruler and during his reign the people suffered greatly because he was responsible for the massacre in Novgorod.

fowler and wilber both think of spirituality in terms of development to higher levels of faith or consciousness over time. do yo
alexira [117]

Answer: Yes

Explanation: In an attempt to propose unconventional models of spiritual development, Fowler and Wilber propose a higher and more trascendental vision of spirituality that enables us to expand our levels of faith and consciousness in life over time. In connection to this, I consider it helpful for human beings to conceive spirituality in connection with 'the trascendental', since it may enable us to see beyond and to try to challenge our inner selves so as to grow spiritually.

A client with peripheral vascular disease has weak pedal pulses and the right foot is cool and pale. which nursing diagnosis has
Blizzard [7]

A client with peripheral vascular disease has weak pedal pulses and the right foot is cool and pale. The nursing diagnosis of the right foot being cool and pale has the highest priority.

This is due to the fact that peripheral vascular disease (PVD) is a broad "umbrella term" that encompasses a wide range of circulatory illnesses. Not only do these disorders impact arteries, but also veins and lymphatic vessels. They can also show up in places other than the legs, such as the arms, neck, and face.

PVD can damage any blood artery outside of the heart, along with the arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. Organs supplied by all these vessels, including the brain and legs, may not receive enough blood flow to operate properly. The legs and feet are the most usually affected and is a nursing diagnosis.
