describe the relationships between living organisms such as mutualism, predation, parasitism, competition, commensalism brainly
Anni [7]

In a mutualistic relationship, both species benefit.

Predation is when a predator eats another organism, in which the predator benefits and the other organism dies.

In parasitism the parasite benefits while the host is harmed.

In competition, neither species benefits because they're too busy fighting over resources.

Commensalism is when only one of the two species benefits but the other is not harmed.

Identify all of the different observations used to support harry hess' theory of seafloor spreading.
Gnoma [55]
In the 1960s Hess proposed that the crust separates along the rifts in the mid ocean ridges and that new seafloor forms by upwelling of hot new crust into these cracks. Magnetic anomaly patterns on the sea floor provide evidence. They are peculiar banded magnetic patterns found on the sea floor. By using the age of magnetic reversals they could calculate the rate of seafloor spreading using the equation speed=distance/time. Another line of evidence is the fact that rocks closest to the spreading ridge are younger and older rocks are further away. <span />
