The correct answer is: it promotes the idea of self-preservation.

The ad gains strenght and motivate the public when it comes to impacting the viewer's emotions, trying to make them look after their own health, using statistics on the dangers of smoking.

Whenever one pictures someone who is famous and well known, smoking, it is supposed to be something influencial, at this point people would be movitated to do the same thing. This argument meets the idea of not addresssing smoking as a moral issue. If themain goal of the ad is motivitating people to not smoke/ quit smoking, they commit an error by using the image of someone famous.

How did european countries benefit from the marshall plan
Westkost [7]

Answer:

It primarily gave financial aid to war-torn European countries.

Explanation:

The Marshall Plan also helped Europeans prevent starvation and poverty- which would make Europe a breeding ground for communist sentiments. Those who accepted financial aid prospered on their way to capitalist, free market economies. With the incentives of the US, they also created democratic governments. Stalin refused the aid for its soviet satellite states, citing that they would be the ones to provide economic relief. Welp, that never happened- paving the way for unrest and turmoil.

How do you think debt and geographic factors affect farmers today?
Drupady [299]

Answer:

It was difficult for farmers to get out of debt because they had to plant a lot of crops and so the price of their crops went down and this made them in debt. They had to take loans and sometimes the loans made them pay large interest rates which also put them in debt. Economic factors such as subsidies, commodity prices, labour and immigration laws, cost of land, transport, capital and markets, etc. affect farming. Climatic factors such as light, water and rainfall, temperature, air, relative humidity and wind also affect farming.
