The students' rights did were violated. As they planned to perform it off-campus, it is none of the school's business. Therefore, the principal doesn't have the authority to reject the play or not to allow the students. So the students had their right to perform the kind of play they wanted because it wouldn't take place at school, it would be at a local recreation center. The principal is abusing the power that he has within the school, to make decisions about things that are out of his control.

What is it called when an author doesn’t directly quote a source, but paraphrases their words and gives them proper credit?
raketka [301]

Answer:

Paraphrasing is when you read someone's idea or concept from another source and then put it into your own words. It is perfectly acceptable to paraphrase another author's research IF you cite it and give them proper credit for their ideas--even if those ideas are now in your own words.

Answer:

Origin stories.

Explanation:

Both works show the past of characters and the situations that created the experiences and shaped the behavior of the characters until today. These are stories of origin, which portray how the stories we know have become what they are, showing their birth, their development and their personal experiences.

The stories mentioned above show how myths are formed and what are the factors that allow myths to reach what they are today.
