Hello!

Let's go through all of the definitions of these.

The identity property of addition states that any number + 0 will equal the original number. This can be seen in #2, where 0 is being added to 0 + 1/2.

The inverse property of addition states that any number + its opposite = 0. The opposite of a number is the negative form of it. This can be seen in #1, where 5 is being added to its opposite, -5.

The identity property of multiplication states that any number multiplied by 1 = to itself. This is seen in #4, where 37 is being multiplied by 1.

The commutative property states that you can add or multiply numbers in any order. Now, this isn't immediately visible in any of these, so we can use elimination later.

The inverse property of multiplication states that if you multiply a number by its reciprocal, it equals 1. The reciprocal of a number is just the fraction flipped, for example, the reciprocal of 1/2 is 2/1, or 2. This would be #3, where 2 is being multiplied by its reciprocal, 1/2.

Therefore, the commutative property should match with #5.

Hope this helps!

When did the alec meet the stallion ?
Maru [420]

Answer:

The Black Stallion, known as the Black or Shêtân, is the title character from author Walter Farley's bestselling series about the Arab stallion and his young owner, Alec Ramsay. The series chronicles the story of a sheikh's prized stallion after he comes into Alec's possession, although later books furnish the Black's backstory. Shaytan (under various transliterations) is the Arabic word for "devil".
