Interest groups typically influence public policy in the judicial branch by submitting amicus curiae briefs to the court .

Explanation:

In court proceeding or judicial branch interest groups presents or submit their people (amicus curiae briefs) who do not favour any party in the case.

These people presents the facts or documents which are meaningful and useful for the judicial proceeding. With the help of these people, court can take a decision which is actually true and in help the general public.

The interest groups can also be defined as the advocacy groups.
