Any line that does not have a y-intercept of zero does not pass through the origin.

y=mx+b if b is any real value, y does not run through the origin.

So the only lines that pass through the origin are of the form which only has slope...

y=mx passes through the origin for any real value for slope or "m".

Factor the polynomial
Art [367]

Find the GCF (Greatest Common Factor)

GCF = 2x

Factor out the GCF (Write the GCF first and then, in parentheses, divide each term by the GCF.)

2x (2x^3/2x + 4x^2/2x + 6x/2x)

Simplify each term in parentheses

-2x(x^2 + 2x + 3)

Answer D. -2(x^2 + 2x + 3)
