Answer: \frac{7}{12}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the total time of band practice be 't'.

Then, Practice spent by band on uniforms =\frac{1}{6}t

Practice spent by band on marching =\frac{1}{4}t

Then the remaining time=t-\frac{1}{6}t-\frac{1}{4}t

⇒ The remaining time =\frac{12t-2t-3t}{12}

⇒ The remaining time =\frac{7t}{12}

Thus,  \frac{7}{12} of time was spent on playing music.

7/12 because 1/4 = 6/24 and 1/6 = 4/24 and if u add them you get 10/24 which leaves 14/24 which simplifies to 7/12

Ln x + ln (x + 1) = ln 56
Leni [432]

Answer:

x=7

Step-by-step explanation:

ln x +ln(x+1)=ln 56

ln x(x+1)=ln 56

so x(x+1)=56

x^2+x-56=0

(x+8)(x-7)=0

x= -8 or x=7

and lnx,x>0

so x=7

The answer is 19 hours. I divided 516 by 26 and the result was 19.84 but i only took 19 which multiplied by 26 gives me 494 & if you add 22 it gives you 516. You're welcome.
