Answer:

He is wealthy enough to live in West Egg but not wealthy enough to rent a very nice place.

Explanation:

F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby," tells the story of Jay Gatsby and his unfulfilled dreams of trying to win back his former love which is the main and only purpose of his life. The story also deals with the theme of an American dream, the various obstacles that one encounters in life, and the evident social status that one maintains or tries to maintain to be "agreeable" for others.

In the given excerpt from the text, Nick, our narrator, describes his home. He agrees that his house at West Egg <em>"is an eyesore but it was a small eyesore"</em>. This seems to suggest that it was an eyesore for those living in East Egg but not that much as compared to the other houses in West Egg. This shows that <u>he is wealthy enough to live in a much better house than the others but at the same time, not wealthy enough to be able to reside in the "upper-class" East Egg side. </u>

She describes the problem and and it might have not been the solution the other three had wanted. but the solution for Rosa was it would've helped support her stand up for black rights. So it's problem solution

When it comes time to choose a career to pursue, many young people find themselves at a crossroads of whether to follow their he
Svetlanka [38]
The best other to take is to follow your heart on an impractical path with limited opportunity. This path is the best because doing a job you love may reward you in the end. In addition, you will feel better about your life knowing that you followed your heart and pursued the career you wanted. It may be tough to make a career with employment, but it can be even more challenging when you make a career that you hate. Furthermore, the benefit of the path that I have is that you get to enjoy it, leading to more job satisfaction. Moreover l, the benefits of using your marketable skills and talents even though you hate the job is that you can make a lot of money and be satisfied financially. Additionally, the dangers of following your heart in your career are that it will be hard to take breaks when it is necessary, and other aspects of your life can suffer. The dangers of doing a job you hate are that it can cause adverse effects on your health, and you may not be satisfied with your life. Each path has its pros and cons, but it is up to the individual whether the risks are worth it.

I hope this helps you.

PLEASE HELP!!! Read the excerpt from Act III, scene i of Romeo and Juliet. Mercutio: No, ’tis not so deep as a well, nor so wide
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer: The right answer is A) Mercutio’s death.

Explanation: In this excerpt, the moribund yet still witty Mercutio is announcing Romeo his imminent death, as he has been stabbed by Tybalt in order to defend Romeo's honor. His wound, he says, is neither deep like a well nor wide like the door of a church, but "enough" to end with his life. He then curses the two families for their disagreements, fiercely criticizes Tybalt for having attacked him, and for how he has done it, and finally reprimands Romeo for having gotten in the way.

Click to read the passage from The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka. Then
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

O A. Gregor did not like the taste of the milk.

Explanation:

Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" is about the shocking transformation of Gregor Samsa into an insect. The short story seems to focus on the theme of isolation, aloofness, and the inability to socialize.

The one element that shows that Gregor's transformation is more than physical is that he detests the taste of milk. The sweetened milk that his sister had left for him at his door was a repulsive thing for him. The author reveals that he did not like the taste at all,<em> "[though] Milk like this was normally his favorite drink".</em>

Thus, the correct answer is option A.
