I think that A would be the best answer to this because both of the phrases seem to be the most connected. I am not entirely sure though...
What did Juliet do?
B.She sent the nurse to speak with Romeo.
In the passage she says she "sen[t] the nurse...perchance she cannot meet him." These clues tell you that she sent the nurse to speak to Romeo (him).
What did the nurse do?
B. She agreed to this request.
Because Juliet says the nurse promised to return, we can infer that the nurse did indeed agree to Juliet's request.
What motivated Juliet to make this request?
A.Her desire to marry Romeo
We know that Juliet is waiting to hear news of Romeo's arrangements for their marriage. Juliet's eagerness and desire to marry Romeo is shown in these lines as she is impatient for the nurse to return with the news.
What motivated the nurse to go on this quest?
C. She cares about Juliet's happiness.
We know that the nurse and Juliet are close. The nurse is the only person who Juliet confides in regarding her love for Romeo. Also, the nurse does not dissuade Juliet from marrying Romeo at this point in the play. Her loyalties lie in her desire to see Juliet happy rather than to the Capulet name, since she is helping Juliet arrange a marriage with a Montague.
A persuasive speech / paper is basically you trying to persuade someone. So it might start off like
"Dear Milo,
Have you heard of the brand new *awesome* mall that opened today? I know you hate going places but it's got *amazing* new shops and clothes *to die* for!" Then list more reason but also try to include things like "If you do go.."
So a persuasive speech would be a speaker trying to convince a crowd to listen and agree with his / her ideas on something.
Answer: the blank should be making.
Explanation:
Anne is becoming more mature as she ages, and she looks at the world through a fresh pair of eyes. She now understands part of the burden that her parents hold, and she acts more politely towards the other adults there. Anne, it is very clear that if there is one individual in particular Anne does not like, it is Mrs.Van Daan. As she becomes more mature, she and Mrs.Van Daan become more acquainted and they do not clash as much, Anne becomes more polite. I understand why Anne would be frustrated by her situation. She wants to be treated with respect, but at the same time, she isn't the most mature. So as the war went on, she becomes more understanding of the adults and later on matures. If I were there I don't know how I would be trying to figure out everything on my own. I would more than likely be frustrated trying to figure out my teenage years while everyone is focused on the war.
