When planning a successful party, it is important to consider your guests interests and likes. For example, if the group of friends that you are having over are movie buffs, you may want to choose a film that none of them have seen, so that you can critique it together. If the group of friends you invite over happen to like games, then gather together a good selection of fun options. You may also want to consider if the group of friends you are having over like each other. People can have a better time if everyone gets along and shares like interests.

An expository paragraph tells you have to do something or how something happens.

In "the tropics of New York," why is the fruit in the first stanza described so carefully?
son4ous [18]

In the Tropics of New York by Claude McKay, the fruits in the first stanza were described carefully in order to show a vivid and almost real sensory experience of the picture the poet had in mind. It also gives an impression of the longing of the speaker of such tropical fruits as he was riding in the cargo ship as depicted in the poem – as judged with the meticulous choice of words.
