To find the answer you have to do 7-3 to find out how many hours there were for the temperature to change.
7-3=4
So it took four hours so you have to do 4 times 2 but since the temperature is dropping you have to do 4 times negative 2 so
4x-2=-8
So then you have to subtract 8 from your original number which is 4, so
4-8=-4
So the ANSWER IS D (-4 degrees F)

Temka [501]

Answer:

(a) y \geq 4

(b) x >y

(c) 32 x+25y = \$300

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that a pen costs 32 cents and a pencil costs 25 cents. Kwok buys x pens and y pencils.

We have to express each of the following statements as an inequality.

(a) Kwok buys at least 4 pencils;

As it is given that the number of pencils bought by Kwok is y pencils and our statement states that Kwok buys at least 4 pencils.

So, the inequality that represents the above situation is given by;

y \geq 4

(b) Kwok buys more pens than pencils;

As it is given that the number of pens bought by Kwok is x pens and the number of pencils bought by Kwok is y pencils and our statement states that Kwok buys more pens than pencils.

So, the inequality that represents the above situation is given by;

x >y

(c) Kwok spends no more than 3.00 dollars;

As we know that a pen costs 32 cents and a pencil costs 25 cents.

Also, Expenditure = Price \times Quantity

So, the inequality that represents the above situation is given by;

0.32 x+0.25y = \$3

32 x+25y = \$300

How do i solve this?
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

AC=5√2 ; BC=5√2

Step-by-step explanation:

SinΘ=opp/hyp

therefore Sin45=AC/10 ------EQN 1

Note: SIN45= √2/2

Substitute SIN45 for √2/2 into EQN 1

√2/2=AC/10

AC=5√2

AC=BC=5√2

Gre4nikov [31]

Hello!

The answer is:

B. d\leq 1,640ft

Why?

From the statement we know that the cheetah can reach a speed of 70 mph, but it can be maintained for no more than 1,640 feet.

The expression "no more than" means that at least it can be reached but never exceeded, it involves that the distance can be less or equal than 1,640 feet but never more than that.

So, the correct option is:

B. d\leq 1,640ft
