Answers:

Q: What is the most they could weigh together?

A:  0.74 kg

-----

Q: What is the least they could weigh together?

A:  0.62 kg

=================================================

Work Shown:

x = weight of first ball

y = weight of second ball

each ball has a weight range of 0.31 kg to 0.37 kg, so,

0.31 \le x \le 0.37

0.31 \le y \le 0.37

add straight down to get

0.31+0.31 \le x+y \le 0.37+0.37

which simplifies to

0.62 \le x+y \le 0.74

the two soccer balls have a weight range of 0.62 to 0.74, inclusive of both endpoints.

--------

Without using algebra, you basically just add the smallest the two weights could be (0.31) to itself to get 0.31+0.31 = 0.62 which represents the smallest the two weights combined can be. The same happens with the largest weight of 0.37 to get 0.37+0.37 = 0.74 as the max weight of both objects together.

For a repeated-measures study comparing two treatments with a sample of n = 9 participants, the difference scores have a mean of
Korolek [52]

Answer: Estimated standard error for the sample mean difference would be 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Mean of MD = 4.90

So, Sum of difference would be

4.9\times 9=44.1

S = 288

n = 9

We need to find the standard error for the sample mean differences.

Estimated standard error for the sampled mean difference would be

\dfrac{\sqrt{Sum(D^2)-(\dfrac{sum(d)^2}{n})}}{n(n-1)}}\\\\=\dfrac{\sqrt{288-\dfrac{44.1^2}{9}}}{9(9-1)}\\\\=0.99\\\\\approx 1

Hence, estimated standard error for the sample mean difference would be 1.

Find the length of MT
Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Solution,

x+12+8x-2=180° (Linear pair)

or, 9x+10=180°

or, x+10=180/9

or, x=20-10

x=10

The length of MT

=8x-2

=8×10-2

=80-2

=78

Which set of steps can be used to prove the sine sum identity, sin(x + y) = sin(x)cos(y) + cos(x)sin(y)? Use the complementary r
Vilka [71]

Answer:

[A]  use the complementary relationship between sine and cosine to rewrite sin(x + y) as cos(pi/2-(x+y)). apply the cosine sum identity. then simplify using sin(–y) = –sin(y) and cos(–y) = cos(y).

Step-by-step explanation:

i got it right

screw that other person l0l

note that sin(-x)=-sin(x) and cos(-x)=cos(x)

so sin(-y)=-sin(y) and cos(-y)=cos(y)

or something like that idfk
