17t + 4t − 5t − 13t = 18

do 17t+4t first

21t-5t-13t

21t-5t and then do -13t

16t-13t= 18

3t= 18

divide both sides by 3 to get t by itself

3t/3= 18/3

cross out 3 and 3, divide by 3 and then becomes 1*1*t= t

t= 18/3

Answer:

t= 6

Answer:

T=6

Step-by-step explanation:

Isolate t on one side of the equation.

17+4t-5t-13t=3t (Combine like terms & group like terms )

3t=18

3t/3=18/3 (Divide by 3 from both sides.)

18/3 (Solve.)

18/3=6

t=6

Therefore, the final answer is t=6.

Daniel used the formula to find the area of the following special trapezoid. His work is shown. Identify his error and correct i
Helga [31]

Daniel made an error in line 3. He wrongly divided the sum of sides and height. The area of the trapezoid is 42 cm².

What is the area of the trapezoid?

A trapezoid is a convex quadrilateral. A trapezoid has at least on pair of parallel sides.

Area of a trapezoid = 1/2 x (sum of the lengths of the parallel sides) x height

 • Line 1: A = 1/2 x (6) + (7 + 7)
 • Line 2: A = 1/2 (6) (14)
 • Line 3 : 3 x 14
 • Line 4 : A = 42 cm²

If diagonal ab were drawn in the rhombus at what point would it intersect the other diagonal? (-4.6) (3,5)
tekilochka [14]

Answer:

(0.5, 5.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

So we know that one point is (-4, 6) and the other point is (3, 5). Also we know that Diagonals of a rhombus intersect at their midpoints.

For that reason, the point is:

x = (3 -4)/2=0.5

y=(5+6)/2 = 5.5

Then, the response is: (0.5, 5.5)
