Explain what the Union army did to complete Step 3 of the Anaconda Plan from 1864 to 1865
AysviL [449]
The first step was the development of Anaconda plan, which aims to set up a naval blockade of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, and to transport around 60,000 Union troops. This  will enable them to cut off all trade and they can put hold to all forts and town along the way. However, the plan was rejected and was never put into action due to it being passive and slow to implement. With the aim to end the war quickly, Anaconda plan was revisited as a 3rd step. Wherein they employ the general framework of the plant but added combat to play on the screen. The general idea of the plan still contributes to put an end of the Civil War.

Why did jefferson list the violations in reverse order putting the pursuit of happiness first?
andreyandreev [35.5K]

When Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence, he used a rhetorical writing style that was the standard during the 18th century. The goal was to build towards a climax. By stating life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as unalienable rights that should be enjoyed by all men he set the tone for the rest of the document. The succeeding list described how the British violated these rights in an order where the worst violations were placed last.
