1. Going to bed
The child may feel uncomfortable falling asleep alone. The parent can place an item of clothing next to them so that the smell can comfort them.

2. Going to preschool or kindergarten.
The child may worry when the parent isn’t there. The parent can reassure them and/or do the same as above.
