How is costuming an art?
Crazy boy [7]
I think Costuming is an art because you put the Costume together, with your own ideas, like when you paint, you put in your ideas into the painting and make it your own. I think it is the same way with Costuming.

Question 3 of 10
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

Although the renaissance is an inclusive period in the Middle Ages, it has completely different characteristics from what happened in the Middle Ages. Medieval art is Gothic style. During the medieval times, people insisted on the life of the community, and where they lived was very important. While feudal society was tougher in the Middle Ages, it was more comfortable during the renaissance.

In the middle ages, people were pessimistic about life, the concepts of sin and morality replaced everything that everyone did in life. It is ingrained in everyone's mind that God is all and man is nothing.

What makes michelangelo's david stand out from all other depictions of the same character?
chubhunter [2.5K]
David stands out amongst other depictions because of the simple fact that it is... well.. David. Normally, David was depicted after his fight with Goliath, triumphant of defeating such an opponent, yet Michelangelo decided to show David’s triumph BEFORE fighting Goliath. This was because Michelangelo found that real triumph comes from accepting a challenge against all odds. Michelangelo’s “David” also represents Michelangelo’s home of Florence standing up against superpowers at the time, while being much smaller.
