Answer: The point where the two graphed lines cross is the solution to the system of equations. (1, -1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The second equation is already in slope-intercept form y = x - 2

the slope is +1 (invisible coefficient of x) and the y-intercept is -2

y = mx +b

"m" is the slope (the coefficient of x) Positive slopes go up from left to right

"b" is the y-intercept, where the graphed line crosses the x-axis

Rewrite the first equation in slope-intercept form.

6x + y = 5 subtract 6x from both sides

-6x + 6x +y = -6x + 5 .( left side 6x + 6x =0 so "cancel")

y = -6x + 5

Then you know the slope and the intercepts

b = 5 so start with a point at +5 in the y-axis

m = -6 so from there go down 6 and over to the right 1 square and plot another point. Draw a straight line through the two points.

The point where the two graphed lines cross is the solution to the system of equations.

Your graph should look like the screenshot below.

What is 148% as a fraction and decimal?
Rudik [331]

Answer:

Fraction: 1 12/25

Decimal: 1.48

Step-by-step explanation:

We know the percent 100 is equal to 1. You are basically adding .48 to the decimal, and also adding 48/100 to the fraction. So, if you were to convert 148% to a fraction and a decimal, it would be 1 12/25 and 1.48.

Hope this helps,

Philip

Find the absolute change and the relative change in the following case. The number of daily newspapers in a country decreased fr
love history [14]

Answer:

-868

Step-by-step explanation:

-Absolute change is simply defined as the number by which a change has occurred.

-We therefore determine the difference between the two years by subtracting the new value from the old or reference value:

\bigtriangleup=new \ value -old \ value\\=(1214-2082)\\\\=-868

Hence, the absolute change is -868

Depends on your foot size. I’d go with the 8 as when you hike etc your feet can “swell” some.

Find the area of the composite figure.
iogann1982 [59]

Answer:

1048.32 or 432 pi

Step-by-step explanation:

12*12=144

144+(4/3 pi *6^3)

6*6*6=216

216*4/3pi=864/3

864/3=288

288*3.14(pi)=904.32

904.32+144=1048.32

(If you have the pi symbol the answer is 144+288=432pi)
