What Elaine can do to feel comfortable is learn more about Pakistan as a country, learn the Pakistani culture and learn about Islam, the family's religion since they are Muslim. Once she does this and she gets to know these people for who they are, instead of listening to stereotypes and false media she can learn about them for herself.
