Can someone explain how to do numbers 41, 44, and 47 and show all work please?
pantera1 [17]
41. Degree 3 = x^3 (maximum power in the equation)

Zeros: -1, 1, 3

(x-1)(x+1)(x-3)=f(x) <--- expand as necessary

44. Zeros: -4, 0, 2

(x+4)x(x-2)= f(x) <--- expand as necessary

47. Multiplicity is how many times a particular number is 0 for a given function.

(x+1)(x-1)^3(x-2)^3 <-- not too sure about this one, google definition of multiplicity?

Hope I helped :)
