85 was the lucky number because therefore, he has a good chance of making a catch after 84 days of nothing

HEY:)

85 is the lucky number according to the man.. but............

necessarily the number wasn't really lucky since the prediction does eventually come true before it goes horribly wrong. so nobody can really say that this number is entirely lucky.

How did the Nazis' rise to power, first in Germany and then in other European countries, affect the way the various speakers saw
Sloan [31]

Answer:

The rise of Nazism brought up concepts of superiority and provoked a strong polarization in relation to speeches in defense or against Nazism. This changed the view of many speakers towards each other.

Explanation:

Faced with the rise of Nazism, Europeans found themselves in the midst of a strong political and idological polarization, as Nazism raised violent concepts of racial superiority, which most Europeans fit in with, but many did not agree with the concepts of inferiority raised by the Nazi regime. This promoted a strong polarization between speakers around the world, because on the one hand, several of them saw Nazism as absurd, while others saw it as something to be thought about and respected.

masha68 [24]

Answer:

D). Building in Redundancy.

Explanation:

The authors/speakers employ a variety of techniques or strategies to convey their intended idea or thought effectively to the readers.

In the given question, Sheena employs 'building in redundancy' that implies presenting the same information more than once to enhance the audience recall. She repetitively displays the same information as reflected by her presentation 'concluded..intro..previewing..main points, 'used internal summary', 'internal preview'), (in conclusion..summarized idea...importance of Curie's life'). Thus, her technique would be categorized as 'building in redundancy' which however leads to add superfluous elements in the content and fails to create the desired impact. Thus, option D is the correct answer.

read the passage and then answer the question: cecil came home to find the couch cushions gnawed on, a vase lying in pieces on t
dimaraw [331]

The correct answer is Cecil shook his head.

An explicit detail is one in which a writer employs descriptive language to make it crystal apparent to the readers exactly what is happening in a scenario.

As a result, we can observe that the author does not utilise any implicit details that could be misinterpreted and instead uses explicit detail to demonstrate that Cecil shook his head.

Nothing, in fact, suggests that Cecil is unaware of Leo. He genuinely says, "Not again," which indicates that it has already happened. He is thus certain to be familiar with Leo.

Since this is stated explicitly in the text, it is not implied.
